Last Saturday, Second Saturday in the Lower Town Arts District, I had so much fun that I could hardly contain myself. I got to ride the horse drawn carriage with Santa and the Elves–it touched my heart, and made me realize how blessed we all are and how the most meaningful experiences at Christmas have nothing to do with spending money. We are very fortunate that we have our very own Lower Town Santa and the Elves are from our ‘hood as well.
We picked up Santa at Pinecone Gallery and swung around to get the elves at the Mary Jane Inn. Then we all sang some impromptu Christmas carols as we rode around the LowerTown Arts District. It made me feel like a kid again. Just look at these children’s (the elves) faces; isn’t that the pure joy of Christmas in their faces?
