Musicians and their instruments
are favorite subjects of mine.
I especially like the upright bass
because of the visual drama that
is created by the instrument being
larger than a human being.
Often, when you see a bass player
performing, there seems to be a kind
of dance going on between the
instrument and the musician.

Yes, the dance! That’s what I love about watching someone play the bass too. And the way you not only hear, but feel, the music it makes.
